Tayyip Erdogan’s offer to Putin to mediate nuclear plant dispute

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan offered his Russian counterpart to mediate in the Zaporizhzhya nuclear plant dispute.
According to the Turkish Presidential Office, President Erdoğan and Russian President Putin had a phone call.
President Erdoğan said that Turkey can play the role of a facilitator in the Zaporizhia nuclear plant.
The two leaders agreed to hold talks on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Samarqand, which will be held on September 15-16.
