14 passengers injured in fire in Indian plane at Muscat Airport
An Indian passenger plane caught fire at the airport of Muscat, the capital of Oman.
According to the Arab media, the engine of the Indian passenger plane caught fire during taxiing on the runway.
From Muscat, Omani Aviation says that the plane was filled with smoke due to an engine fire. Passengers were evacuated from the aircraft on emergency basis. During the emergency evacuation, 14 passengers were injured.
Omani Aviation further said that the fire tenders of the airport controlled the fire in the engine of the aircraft.
